This is my office building in Zebulon. It is located on West Jackson Street.
I acquired and rehabilitated it in 1983-84 with the help of my father, Dr. C.L. Chandler, Jr. of Atlanta, then substantially improved it after a tornado damaged it in 1994. Interestingly enough, in 1948 a tornado had hit it and swept away its bell tower. It was originally built in about 1888 and was known as the Griffin District Institute.
